Review: GAME OF LOVE by Melissa Foster

Game of Love

The Remington’s Book One

Melissa Foster

Blurb

Ellie Parker is a master at building walls around her heart. In the twenty-five years she’s been alive, Dex Remington has been the only person who has always believed in her and been there for her. But four years earlier, she came to Dex seeking comfort and then disappeared like a thief in the night, leaving him a broken man.

Dex Remington is one of the top PC game developers in the United States. He’s handsome, smart, and numb. So damn numb that he’s not sure he’ll ever find a reason to feel again.

A chance encounter sparks intense desires in Ellie and Dex. Desires that make her want to run—and make him want to feel. A combination of lust and fear leads these young lovers down a dangerous path. Is it possible to cross a burned bridge, or are they destined to be apart forever?

Review:

As unorthodox as it may be, I am starting this review with the rating.....  5 STARS!!!!

I mean really....I fell in love with Dex by the end of the first chapter.  He is focused, successful, family oriented and handsome as far as my mind is telling me :)   He had a strict and disciplined upbringing but was unlucky in love.  Unlucky in the way he'd fallen hard and gotten is heart broken.
Then...by the end of the second chapter, I felt for Ellie and adored her at the same time.  Unfortunately, she was the reason for Dex's broken heart.  I still couldn't hate her because she'd had a horrible childhood.  Dex had always been there for her whether she wanted or needed him or not.  She was fiercely independent despite her feelings for Dex.

This is one you won't wanna miss, trust me!  Such a great start to the Remington series and yay Melissa Foster....I can't wait to read more!
